is ok in my opinion. I would not just say it is a wall that you look at. Yes, there is a large fence but there is quite a bit of space between the outdoor sitting area and the wall. There is a garden path with lanterns and gardens and a good space for the kids to run around, it is quieter on that side when sitting outside at your table and chairs that is provided. The family garden rooms are also on this level, just up from the kids suites.
I would agree with holladaze though, that there would be limited space in the kid's suite, especially with a 16 yr old. I do know that there is a convertable sofa in the room near the queen sized bed, but with that being used you would have no room to move in there. The kid's suites are great for a couple of young children, as you have a partition and door within the room.
You may be able to upgrade when there, it would of course depend on availability. Perhaps email them direct and try for another option, if you don't want to be cramped for space.
