I was there 2 weeks ago. the rooms are small but clean, nicely manicured gardens, quiet, a little too far away from kuta square, about a 30 minute walk, 20 minute to discovery plaza .taxi ride to the square is about 6500rp but it's quicker to walk, I would get a taxi back though it is alot quicker getting back. I stayed in Room no 1305 2nd floor towards the back but you get a glimps of the pool,(small) staff on front desk to me need to be a little friendlyer , grounds people are great. Instead of walking out the front way, go down the back of the resort staff entrance they won't mind, just ignore the sign,"staff only" you will save at least 5 minutes and you are on the main street. Room service menu a bit boring only ate breakfast there, went to get something to eat. There is a nice bar/restaurant on the left hand side about a 2 minute walk on the main street can't remember the name. Down the alley there are small stalls, There is a lovely lady there who makes leather items highly recommend, just look for a smile here name Nani (sada Sari Leather Shop)JL Kartika Plazza if you see here tell her Cathy say's hello.
