we were there for the last bombings only 200m down the road from kuta bomb and still felt safe as the locals were very helpfull and were conserned if we were ok we had to walk back to our hotel in legian and weren't to sure which way to go but locals helped us. when in bali we walk to and from hotel late at night even by ourself no worries would not do at home though
