similarity between Pondok Ayu and SBV, bit I can tell you that Pondok Ayu is beautiful & amazing value for money. The staff are lovely, and the prices for everything (tours/drinks/etc) are just so cheap. Gede, the manager is a delight & so easy to deal with, and we found all the staff honest, generous and genuine people. The rooms are lovely, well maintained & tasteful & spacious - personally, we couldn't ask for anything more. It's not on the beahc, but is within walking distance (although Gede will happily drive you around Sanur, gratis). If you do a search you'll see my & others previous comments. We'll be staying there again in June, and it's a place I wouldn't hesitate to recommend - I'd be very surprised if anyone had anything negative to say about it!
