I went to Bali in July 07 and as my luggage was severely overweight i posted quite a bit of stuff home, mainly clothes and DVD's etc. They gave a few different options like air or sea mail and there is quite a difference in arrival times. I took the air mail option, it was a bit more expensive but the sea mail can take up to 2 month i believe i was told. Our stuff arrived safely about a week after we returned.
Will definitely be doing it again when i go in August if i do not go with the cargo option.
