Hi MamaJ - the portacot would be a good compromise on the play pen. I don't think you would have any trouble getting a play pen back into Aus though, it's only if the wood is infected with insects that wood is a problem.
Chupa is right about Patra - a great hotel and you will have a good time with your twins. Don't get the microwave sorry, wouldn't it be easier to teach your kids to drink milk cold?
