I am not aware that S & S have bought a 5 star hotel, if so, regardless, they are still selling cold drinks at the same beach bar in Legian (on beach between Mandira and Legian Beach Hotels).
I am sure you will make the right decision regarding returning to Bali or not. Sounds like an excellent choice of destination to do some life thinking!
I havent even heard of Bali Tropic.
