Lovina, I highly recommend Rambutan Cottages, but it may cost you more like au$120 - $140 for two rooms. (email Richard, the owner and mention BTF and he usually offers some discount). Its a really lovely hoyel with glorious gardens and pool area. Have a look at Aditya or Puri Bali.

Ubud, Tegal Sari is sensational and you should be able to get a Super Deluxe and Superior or standard, then share the SD balcony, for around au$100 per night.
Villa Rasa Sayang will definitely meet your $ requirements, on Monkey Forest Rd. Ubud Village Hotel will cost more like $120 - $140 for 2 rooms.
