After a lot of research and listening to the opinions of others we ended up going to Taro Elephant Park in Dec 06 and loved it (would go again with newbies for sure)- was a great day out however...
after visiting the Safari Park just a few weeks ago - canoot say enough about it as it was just fantastic.
Marine Park is expecting to open the Marine park in March.
One bit of advice - if you do choose the Safari Park - go early as you'll need a full day.
