The Airport has apparently now reopened after flights were cancelled last night due to Cyclone Helen. Hope this is of help to those travelling via Darwin.
To BTF just letting you know we are all okay got a visit at 2:30am in the gusts ( we live south of darwin) by a huge Fishtail palm.
His head is on our roof ( we are in a elevated house ) and some bits of him are poking thru my front verandah. :-))
Hope everyone else in Darwin, remote and the rural areas are okay from BTF.
