I have stayed at both of these places and it really depends on what you want. Rooms: Puri Raja rooms were refurbished last year so I found their rooms much better. The beds were mnore comfortable, the pillows were better and the lighting in the room was better. TV in KP was better in that it had English spaking chanels, so I hired a DVD player at PR which worked well. The bathroom at KP is bigger than the one at PR but the bathroom at PR is certainly large enough. Staff at PR much nicer, have been there a very long time and overall the service was better. The food was really good at PR however the KP breakfasts offer more variety. They have poolside staff offering massages and manicures/pedicures at PR which is really cheap and excellent. Drink and snack prices at PR more expensive than KP and this was an aspect we missed about KP. The location of both is excellent, PR is a little more expensive than KP. Pool water at KP is cooler than PR. Which would I choose? PR :) Enjoy wherever you stay :)
