I would have booked though someone else . By having a copy of your CC both sides lets them have access to your Id number (3 to 4 number on the back) and in conjuntion with your passport leaves you open to Id theft . The hotel that you probible booked would have been available on other booking sites that would not ask for such id . Would be very vidulent on my credit card statements for a few months and maybe inform my CC company of the matter as well as they will keep an eye onit for suspicious transactions.
