We book Tegal Sari in Ubud and always have to pay for our booking many months in advance. If we want to stay there we have to provide our CC details. Like it, lump it, or dont stay there!
We have never had any problem with TS fraudulently using our details.
If we did ever find that our credit card was used fraudulently then we would contact our bank and report the transaction and although messy would eventually have the transaction refunded to us.
