secondhand clothes for locals

This is probably a silly question, does it ever get cool over in Bali. I've cleaned out the kids clothes drawers and was going to bring all the outgrown clothes to Bali to give to the locals, but I tend to have more lightweight long sleeved boys shirts and some lightweight jumpers? Should I bother to bring them. Also, do they like adult secondhand clothing?
