We have looked high and low for self catering/ hotel accomm in Sanur as we take long holidays in Bali each year. While very disapointed at Puru Ayu in the original villa room we were placed, the new room was excellant. For a change, we would go next door to The big hotel and use their pool and beach lounges as the pool towells all the same color. Lots of good beach cafes within a few minutes walk. Bit of a walk up to Hardys (supermarket), you can just get a taxi, there is a small grocery shop just at the end of the laneway going up to the hotel. Again, this is an small hotel, but these new villas are great value.
