This was done by the Brisbane Garuda Manager when they decided to stop the service. It was said at the time the planes were needed for all the Muslims going to Mecca. I read about this onboard our Garuda flight out of Singapore to Bali mentioning the amount of planes that were needed for the trips to Mecca. In November Garuda staff in Tuban said that they were hoping that the service would start up again in March, so here,s hoping.
