I took over Australian made clothes - shopped at DFO before I left and got some amazing bargains in nice new quality Aust clothing, some toys (Lego and Duplo) and some Australian souvenir T-shirts, soft toys. I also took over new towels and linen and some corelle dinnerware (light to carry), again purchased at the factory outlet stores here in Brisbane.
For the girls, toiletries, makeup, lipsticks would be appreciated (all of which you can buy over there more cheaply of course.)
I took over a whole lot of the Coles bags (about $1.20 to buy in Coles) in various different colours. I used them to put the gifts in that I gave people and they were really popular. The beach ladies also like them to carry their gear in as they are strong and easy to carry.
