We flew from Brisbane with SA in Jan last year and had a 3 hour stopover in Singapore and straight connection on the way back. I think the $900 is probably a good price and no' can't imagine any cheaper flights as the cheaper flights tend to be with Jetstar and Garuda. This Nov we flew from Coffs Harbour to Sydney and caught a Garuda flight but we prefer Brisbane and will fly Brisbane next time.
