Jetstar and food and entertainment

Hi all

there was a post a few days ago regarding food on jetstar, i wasnt aware that we had to buy our own food is this correct? and then also do we get movies etc... going over to bali we are going star class then coming home we are economy (not sure what it is called )
can anyone clarify this as it is first time we are going jet star to our beloved Paradise.
