essential, simply for your own insurance. You'll probably be fine, but heaven forbid, IF you were unlucky enough to have an accident your trave l insurance wont cover you, if you don't have a valid international liscence. Without that cover, if the worst did happen (& it can anywhere, it's no comment on your own skills, is it?) then you could have a 20,000 evacuation bill. Honestly cover your own as* and get the insurance!
