There are a large number of people sponsoring Bali Schoolkids education in a variety of ways.
Yes, some people do choose to visit the children, some don't. Some sponsor one child, some more. Some give gifts, some don't, and some are more expensive than others.
It's a similar situation at home in Oz. Some kids get bigger gifts than their peers. Just the same as some people choose to advertise how much they have spent and others simply choose to keep it to themselves.
Is there a perfect solution? I wish I knew.
The sponsorship itself is the biggest gift and all that is expected or necessary.
Gifts and presents should not interfere with whether you wish to help with a childs education and to promote goodwill and understanding between cultures.
