The last time I tried taking a liter of tequilla into Bali, they took it, and escorted us to the duty free shop at the airport, whereupon we had to purchase the same liter for $2.00 less than what we paid in the states. This was before you were not allowed over 3oz liquids on the plan. Other time, we were able to take liquor into Bali without any trouble. That was about 3 year ago though.
