The Senggigi area of Lombok is worth a couple of days, maybe a week if you would like to do some tours to the South and to Mt Rinjani in the North. You can get an outrigger to take you to the Gillis for some relaxation, snorkeling and bintangs.
Whether its 7 or 14 days I wouldnt think you need to be 'doing things', just enjoy the sights smells and experience.
