I cannot for the life of me understand why so many people get upset about bringing BB guns back from Bali.

I mean there is so much fun to be had with them during your average Bali holiday that it's only natural to want to bring them home.

My two teenage nephews Bo and Bud just had a ball with them, well several balls actually and a couple of pool noodles and a floating sun lounge but that's another story. It was a bit of a rainy holiday and I do not know what we would have found for them to do without the BB guns. They were just as happy as the day is long sitting on the balcony of our hotel potting off squirrels up in the palm trees and trying to ping coconuts just as waiters walk under the tree. Wow didn't they just jump and never dropped a tray once. The hotel management were rather unreasonable after the incident when a coconut actually fell on the assistant restaurant manager's head.

It was only their second warning and we did pay for the pellet extraction and stitches in the egg cooks bum after the first incident. However if that's how they wanted to play it, so be it. We left the hotel after they very kindly packed for us and moved down the road where we had no further problems from management at all.

One good thing did come out of the whole nasty scene in reception after we found ourselves locked out of our rooms. The duty manager who, it turns out, is the uncle of the egg cook made a suggestion, in perfectly intoned English about where he thought we should put the BB guns.

That brings me to the point of this post. As he spoke a light went on in the minds of the boys and they realized how to get the BB guns back to Oz. They are plastic you see and do not set off the walk through metal detectors.

Voila!!! Your problem is solved....
