coming home in Nov. I got pulled aside after going through scanner on entering airport. They wanted to check one of my bags. I had no idea why but opened the said bag and the guy pulls out my sons bottle of vodka, he looks at it and says"it not opened" I answered "no" as you could see the seal was still intact and he said"okay" and let me go.
I thought it was strange that we got pulled up as I too thought the liquid rule was only for hand luggage.
But Bali is Bali so just took it in our stride, although I don't know how my son would have reacted if it had been confiscated.
