About 8 years ago we booked to stay at Villa Kresna but ended up not staying after we inspected the property. At that time, the rooms smelt very damp and the pool (quite small) was in serious need of some maintenance. Now, all this may have been upgraded and improved since then, BUT it is located down a small, narrow lane which would be quite dark at night. The beach is very handy though.
We have stayed at the Jayakarta Hotel (but not in the apartments). Great location right on the beach and right amongst the shops and restaurants but we thought it huge and impersonal.
What is your budget per night?
