todays my last day in bali 20days down and sort of happy to be heading home balis getting busier by the day and so so so hot.Aussies are back in force dont no whether thats good or bad have seen some really ugly situations especially the 15 or so aussie blokes at billys restaurant legian who decided to rumble and throw things around while dressed in their underwear one had a plastic doll strapped to his back. Then spilled onto the road harrassed taxi drivers and young balinese girls and tried to play chicken and ran in front of my bike causing me to swerve and nearly end up in a shop front good on you guys!!!!Plenty of aussie guys squiring young balinese girls around at night and being kind enough to let them stay in airconditioned rooms for the night(mmm!!!!)Weather has been so very hot afternoon storms but not anything like the old bali.A balinese surf teacher was struck by lightening last week on kuta beach and died.Rupiah has hovered around 8000 which has been great but prices have gone up a little bargaining seems to be a bit harder esecially in leather shops.Went to melasti spa most days its bliss have tried most everything now but did try the Padma Spa padma utara or a body scrub, massage, footbath and if you dont worry about the place being a bit tired looking this had to be one on the best massages scrubs Ive ever had in bali and at a much cheaper price ive it a try not as busy or noisy as melasti and the girls were wonderful.Surf has been pretty consistent but dropping off now.Lucky to be given free accomodation in fiends villa at canggu spent couple nights there looking over the beach was amazing but local retsaurant prices were a bit steep compared to legian area.Dinners at Zanzibar,Khaima Morroccan,Petite for really fresh cheap food many more to mention later, need to hit the gym when back.Stayed first week in house at legian it was the best experience so quite and restful staff were fantastic.well could go forever about shopping etc. but most people fill in the gaps already so mines just a bit off waffle on sad to say goodbye to bali again but if your coming there will be plenty aussies here and plenty police, military, and security due to conference so its probably perfect time to revisit bali.Oh thanks to Jetstar late arriving in bali again hope they are on time tonight our friends plane was delayed 6 hours last week going home he had no notice!!!!
