Hi Cathy: I had lunch at the dancing Dragon last year and I have to say it was one of the most serene experiences of my life. The quiet was so pristine - I wished I could have bottled it and taken it home with me! At the time, there was only one other person around the place - reading a book down on the beach in front of the infinity pool. Just to sit at a pit table in the dining pavilion, looking out over the sea, completely surrounded by the sounds of silence, was an amazing experience. I found my mind drifting through thoughts I had not contemplated in years and it was so comfortable to be just dealing with the here and now - not for a second did I think about what I had to do next or what I had already done; it was all about what was happening right at the moment. In many regards I felt like I was experiencing a taste of the real Bali: "you come in my shop", "transport, transport" and the chaos of places such as Kuta cut no headspace for me. Whether that is a fact of feng shui or not I have no idea - but it sure was good! As we left the grounds of the property I wondered what the bungalows were like inside - now I know! Cheers - keviin
