For my money i would go for the PR over the MBR , We stayed at the PR in July Aug this year right next door to the MBR. To me the MBR looked somewhat tried from the outside and gardens over grown. WE loved the PR there were 14 of us all up at one stage, there were lots of families there.
If people are going to reply - why not give you the answer they want ? sometimes the search function give just way too many results then times out when you page back.

Have a great time - but for me i'd stay at the PR, renovated last year
