You make some rather interesting points there Thorsten, let me just say the following.
You would never have been one of the guests so there would have been no party for you to even go to.
1st Mistake according to you - Legends did offer to close the restaurant down and we told them that they could let people in after we had dinner because we didn't want them to lose money for the night because of our function. Also people were paying for their drinks as they were going; only the bride had a bar tab.
2nd Mistake according to you - That is exactly right you shouldn't comment on why people paid for their own meals. Not that it is your business but it was only the Australian guests that did pay for their meals and were only too happy for this option, all of the Balinese family were paid for by our family.
You people just can't seem to bloody read either apparently; we paid for over 50 people (including the kids). We were charged more because there weren't 50 adults there but we advised that there would be 50 with adults and children, which in the end was over 50. We paid for over 50 people.
3rd mistake according to you - The manager was very wrong in charging an extra 500,000rp for something that had already been paid for. I did say at one stage to Ketut can we handle all of this tomorrow which is why he took me out to the back room because he wanted it all sorted that night and he need to show his boss that he had made a profit for the night, which they would have because my sister told them to put more on the price of the buffet.
Our guests were Australian family and Balinese family. We stick together as a family unit so one in all in, that is what they normally tend to do. It was our Australian guest's choice to leave the venue because they had done the wrong thing by us.
4th mistake according to you - supported the restaurant and staff........ is that response for me to get the violin out because if that is the case it won't happen. We helped our friends out financially, friends gave wheel chairs, prams etc to staff for their families if you want to be a smartar*e about it. Like a lot of people that are on the forums I am sure assisted them financially during the bombings when times were low. It has nothing to do with them remembering your name 12 months later - I am sure they would forget your name in a hurry.
You are entitled to think we exaggerated but I just hope you experience something like this one time during your life for you to get a real appreciation just how messed up it could have been.
Everyone partied on in the GVC car park and we were only too happy to go back to our hotel.
Best regards,
Twinnies
