DO take the obvious precautions - and above all don't stress. I'd avoid buffets (but I do anyway) as the food tends to sit around for yonks, wash & dry your hands thoroughly before eating (take a small hand towel in a plastic bag in your day bag for drying - don't use towels provided in especially the cheaper restaurants). Avoid salads. Use a mild insect repellent during the day as well as at night. Don't wear perfume or use scented soap - mozzies like scent. Just basic stuff.

I went to Bali 3 months pregnant with my son & I have honestly never felt better or healthier than I did then. Let the Balinese know that you are pregnant (if you're not showing much) & they'll spoil you.
