be turning in his grave if he thought a pregnant woman was using a product that contain Deet.
I can't remember details but I think Avon has some insect repellant
products that are advertised as being good for infants so I expect they also may be what you are looking for.I think the range may be called "Skin so Soft" Maybe ask around work or with friends, most people usually know someone that sells Avon.
The only other thing I can think of is a citronella type of based product.A number of years ago when we were at a conference on South Stradbroke island, which is a very environmentally friendly/ green resort - all rooms were provided with a free roll on natural insect repellant which was Aussie made & Citronella based.I can remember that it worked very well when we sat on our balcony at night & the mozzies were swarming that we had no bites.
Opps - almost forgot I recently saw some insect repellant wrist bands at one of my local stores it might be worthwhile to keep your eyes out for them.
I also consider that Filo's advice probably hits the spot the best.Definately best to avoid risks for a Mum to be & get professional advice.
BTW - I presume you know that mozzies which carry dengue fever are around during the day time,so it's not just at night that you need protection against being bitten.
