You should have told then to get lost,it was your booze and you are free to do with it hat you will,to the best of my knowledge there is NO restrictions on taking any amount of alcohol at all out of bali,Australia or wherever,the restrictions are on taking it into a country but only if tax hasnt been paid on it to that country.
