I wouldn'nt change money in Oz. Its easy to change at the airport and you will get a reasonable rate. Make yourself a money converter before you leave, will make life easy. Change your money in lots of $100's then its not so confusing. Only change your money at a Kodak shop, they are honest. People really don't use credit cards in Bali and if they do they charge extra. People prefer cash. Take it easy the first few days, its can be a bit overwhelming at first. Watch the sunset and have a drink one night from the beach bar in Mandira Cottages, really nice. Gosha Rest in Melasti St has great seafood and not far from your hotel. And for the best Indonesian food and ambiance go to Ketapat Rest in Legian St, its a must. Have fun.
