For example the Nghai Tahu Tribe, of which I am a member, is the largest business in the South Island with huge property holdings, a large fisheries business, tourism ( whale watching and Shotover jetboats) all for the benefit of the tribe especially the young - schlorships and the like but no handouts.
They even have a subsidised super scheme for all members who want to join.
This was the result of righting wrongs made over a century ago and is generally accepted as fair by most citizens.
Racial prejudice has largly been eliminated in The Land Of The Long White Cloud but there are always people wh just don't get it - skinheads for example.
