If you are coming to Sanur you will be visiting a very beautiful spot.
There are many magnificent restaurants in this area.
The post by Cium-saya was 100% incorrect and useless. IT IS KNOWN AS ADVERTISING. Please ignore it. The restaurant promoted will not give you free transport to and from your hotel in Sanur!
I have no idea why CLB also suggests a Spa that is no where near Emerald Villas.
Very good restaurants close to where you are staying are Massimos (Italian). Ming (a strange mixture of French and Chinese). Jepun (try the pork roll there). Coriander (opposite the entrance to Peneeda View). Six Point Cafe (near McbloodyDonalds) Apa Kabar,Magos, Stiff Chilli, Aladdins and the Cat&Fiddle are also good.
The best budget seafood restaurant here is Kesuma, this is located on the beach down the southern end of Sanur. A well prepared, one kilo snapper will cost you around $12 Singapore dollars. They also have great king prawns.
The advice by Flossie is very good. The Beach Cafe is a top place. It is also a magnificent setting.
Try going to Spirit Cafe (on the beach north of Bonsai Restaurant), the food is top quality and there is live music from 1 oclock on Sunday afternoons. It is a popular place with many of our expat crew.
The paved beach walk here is well set up and goes for around 7 kilometres. It will depend on how far you decide to stroll.
Sadly the music scene in this area is a tad off the pace. Try Magos, Cat& Fiddle,Double Dutch, Lazer(as suggested by Flossie)Jazz Bar or even Gede's.
There are number of good Spas close by as well. Your villa staff will help you with this.
Finally if you can afford to stay in Emerald Villa you will find that you are not really "on a budget" when you get here. The cost of living is VERY different to Singapore.
