..technically they are, indeed, not immigrants. However, Indonesians migrating from one island to another are generally perceived as such by the locals. I am not qualified to judge migration within Australia, but I strongly suspect that the differences between someone from New South Wales and Western Australia are considerably less than than those of,for example, Bali and Java. The religions are VERY different, and the languages as well. Re-read Rangatira's post above; quite to the point. This does NOT mean that I find any discrimination justified.
