My family really enjoyed the Safari Park. It was a highlight of our trip. It cost $25US to get in, and the price included patting a 3yo baby orangutan & a 7mth old white tiger cub and you take your own photos/videos. On admission you get a paper wrist band & they check off doing the safari & patting the two animals. The orangutan was very mischievous and pulled one of the beads off my daughter's braids. The tiger cub was sound asleep when we visited him. One of the adult white tigers was napping right up against the viewing window. It was fantastic being that close!
They have a bird show & an elephant education talk but we missed both. There are some young elephants that you can pat & feed for a small cost. You can also pay to ride an elephant or a camel.
The safari was in a truck modified into a bus & you drive through different themed areas of the park with very brief stops along the way. We missed plenty of photo opportunities because the bus doesn't stop for long enough, so be ready!
There is a small waterpark and pool there. The kids had a ball and didn't want to come out! There are lockers there to store your clothes.
There is a restaurant at the safari park with 5 or so different counters with samples of the food you can get. You choose what you want and they stamp a card you get at the entrance and you pay at a register. Then you go an find a table and they bring out the food. We all thought the food was ordinary at best.
We bought some stuffed animals in the gift shop - they were so cheap.
They are still building accommodation and the marine park, but there was little noise.
Have a great time. We did.
