we have never taken clothes as they are so cheap to by there (but i cant see why you shouldnt if you have the space), a couple of trips ago we brought them all shoes over there (36 pairs! cost a few hundred AUD if i remember right) before i go i email the people who run the orphanage and ask if they need anything specific from australia (they ask for different things each time) otherwise i buy it all over there. We also ushally take food and hygine products to the families in the slums (you will see where the kids used to live).
