We aren't 60+ and found people of all ages there.
It's a 5-10 minute walk to Jalan Padma and Garlic Lane, not in the thick of things but certainly not that far out either.
It's not a party hotel with lots of younger people, so if you were looking for that type of hotel you've probably made the wrong decision.
