we often take our own - Cheese, pate, etc...
not sure where you are flying from but we fly from perth (3.5 hours) and usually take some frozen milk with us. The milk keeps all the other things really cold (especially since it is all in our normal luggage not our hand luggage)
A few months ago we flew to bali from sydney and everything was still lovely and cold.
