As a psuedo Rotoruan he's had his brains stewed in them hot pools and his taste buds killed off by the sulphur and definitely wouldn't know if his arse was pointing sideways.
Alas he spends several months per year in the funny farm convinced he's Napoleon.
The Rangatira is modesty personified but when poor Slab has his very occasional flashes of reality and compares himself to The Mighty one he descends into the depths of melancholy and despair at the pathetic hand fate has dealt him.
It is this which makes him fire cruel and untrue barbs at his betters.
