Being a diabetic on 5 injections a day, i will definately be taking my medications and a doctors letter in my hand luggage.
There better not be a problem with me taking needles in my hand luggage because i will die without it.
What some people might not know is it can reach freezing temperatures in the cargo area and if some liquid medications (like insulin) go above or below certain temperatures the chemical compound can change and they become useless.
