Last time I was in Bali I had my hair cut and coloured at the hairdressers just near Krispy Kreme in Centro. Just walked in, waited about 10 minutes then sat down for my 'experience'. I had a lovely Balinese guy cut my hair and, unlike here in Oz, he was in no rush, just leisurely coloured, foiled and cut away.
The 'experience' was actually watching many people come in for massages (hair, legs, backs), and people wandering back out into the Centro mall to do a tad more shopping as they waited for their colour to set(complete with hair in foils and towels around their shoulders).
And as my hairdresser was in no rush, it obviously took a lot longer than it would normally take. My husband kept popping back and forth the see if I was done yet! All in all it was an excellent cut, and at about $30 AUS a lot cheaper than back home. In fact I just recently went to my local hairdresser back home to get my hair cut. She didnt do half as a good job than back in Bali. Well then ..... there is nothing else to it .... I will HAVE to go back to Bali every 6 to 8 weeks to get my hair coloured and cut!!!
