I really thought Murni's Warung (near the Antonio Blanco Museum) on the river is very special. Food good, pretty location and prices ok. Great view of the river and very peaceful. A long established restaurant. Lucky you.
Monkey Forest Road has a great variety of shops, as does Jalan Hanoman.
