That stats are up but nobody is around, is that yes, different nationalities are visiting and staying shorter periods, but I think the boom in villa construction is having people stay out of the traditional parts of Bali eg: Kuta & Legian, and are staying in Seminyak and places like. We noticed this this year when visiting in May, people for one reason or another, security? restaurants?, are going for the villa experience, which we found to our liking.
