it's a block of 12 privately owned apartments and the pool is small but you hardly ever see people using it and the lounges are almost always empty. It's in a good location and there are obvious benefits of an apartment over a room. The apartments are much newer than MBR and all include kitchen or kitchenette, tv, dvd, in room safe. The 2 bedroom apts with extra bed are US$110 per night approx so the same as you are paying at MBR (from memory). I have more photos if you would like to see them - email me
