I purchased insurance for my next trip to Bali and went through my normal chanels, only to discover after explaining to the lady I have mild arthritis and being told it is ok and then paying for the insurance I got my cover in the mail and found out that if I have Arthritis I need to get a doctor to sign papers and return to them. They rang me 24 hrs later and said they could not cover me without paying the extra $60 so went on a search via the web.
I looked everywhere and found Columbus Direct Aust. Rang them and explained I had very mild Arthritis and they were happy to insure me. It was a lot cheaper than everywhere else. Might be worth checking it out. They are underwritten by Lloyds. Hope this helps you.
