Standard rooms are lovely, but are situated at the front of the hotel near the road.( It is not a main road- many other roads are much busier with traffic) They are smaller- but hey we only are in our rooms to shower and sleep. They don't have a balcony either.But overall they are very comfortablE. With regards to the breakfasts- I am more than happy with the variety. There is only so much one can consume for breakfast and the food is the same as any other place- eggs/omlettes any style, friut, cereal, yoghurt, toast, crossiants, rice, noodles, bacon, juice, tea, coffee etc. The view is just beautiful as the ocean is only 15 metres away.
Family suite rooms(older style) which have been renovated in the last 12 months are extremely roomy. I guess it just depends on how much time you spend in your room as to how much space you want. When we go to Bali, we spend every available minute in the out doors, with the locals- learning about their culture, some of whom have become very close friends.
Just have fun when In Bali.
