As for the shopping we have been using friends of ours in poppies 2 at number 10 next door to the kodak money exchanger and rainbow cafe. Tell wayan and staff that glenn and kim sent you. Wayan has a shop called Jenny shop but can also get a lot of other stuff at great prices. Her shop is fixed price if you but a reasonable amount. They will also drive you around as a guide. Ketut (Wayans husband is the driver) will drive you a lot cheaper than a lot of the guides and they are really friendly. They are also true kuta locals (their families have lived in the area for well over 100 years) so they know where to get anything you want and if they dont they can usually find it pretty quick.
